Ahmedabad, here I come

I am leaving today for a wedding of a friend, Reena in Ahmedabad. I was working with her for about 6 months and those were the fun times of my first job. Infact she was the first girl programmer I know of who was good at what she does and also knew how to google for stuff and also knows about IRC.
So, we (Sathya, Arul Mozhi and me) are starting today for ahmedabad and would be back 5 days later. Apart from the marriage, the various other reasons for going there are:

  1. Gujju girls are pretty. Reena has promised that we can see a lot of pretty girls in the wedding.
  2. Gujarathi food is great. One cannot possibly finish an entire full meals in one go.
  3. I haven't travelled more than about 500 km and have set foot only on 4 states (if you count Tamil Nadu too). This time, I would be travelling about 1800km and would be going through 2 new states.
Anyway, I wish Reena a happy married life.

Too bad I didn't go visit these. It was a very short stay and the only place I went was the Gandhi Ashram and the Gulmohar Park.
Do, read about the entire trip here in the other posts.
